So here are two bone pieces I picked up at the swap meet on Sunday. The first one is 42 inches long, so about the size of a belt, hairpipe bone and leather, think the silver is alpaca. The other is a necklace of cut bone pieces with metal spacers, hairpipe bone pieces, and a vintage hook clasp. Any ideas as to who could have made these, era, please share, and greatly appreciated. Thanks for looking.
Thanks for the love, Caperkid, mikelv85, aura, and vetraio50. :)
I love the very art deco look of the necklace. I used to have one (may still) a bit like that but some of the bone had been stained black.
That's all I can say - except I like them!
Thanks for the love, racer4four, and antiquerose. :)
Karen, yes, my feeling is that necklace is Art Deco era, something very interesting to wear back then, I would imagine. I'd like to see yours! :)
