This is a lovely glass bowl I found in a charity shop a few years ago. I like that it still has its label on saying Glassworks Chribska - Czech Rep. the colour is lovely, Purply blue on bottom, grading up to pink. It's about 20cms across and 11cms deep.
The stylised galleon on the label was designed to 'read' 1414. It was the company's proud claim that 1414 was the year when glass production began in the village of Chribska.
I didn't realise it was a number, thought it was just a galleon!
