My Grandfather bought this in the early 50's from a Britain toy company. I believe it was a model of the queen of England for her correlations. Could someone help me get more information on this as I am helping my son with a school project.

Britains LTD is the name of the company. They have been making toy figures for ever and last I knew still are, although a US company now.

It was made for the Coronation. Great model but rather fragile and will break easily. If he is taking it to class I would recommend mounting it in a display case.
