Good Evening CW Friends----(8:40 PM)2016-4-4
This is a repost (2016-03-09) of one of my fav glass vase, made by LOETZ " LOETZ-Ausfuehrungen-237", Jade colour ground with confetti multicolours spatter.
I get this vase from a new friend collector, he decided to downsize is stock, he have only one like that, believe me I have this one in my radar since my first visit at his house, i got quite a few vases from him since our friendship start, Welz, Kralik, Loetz and Ruckl are just few name acquire from him.
I really adore this acquisition for many reason, first for sure Loetz, second the size, enormous, and third the condition, impeccable and finally this vase glow on UV light.
This Beauty stand 10 inch tall, 5.50 inch at the widest portion, 5 inch at the rim, on a 3.25 inch base.
Thanks for Viewing.
Alan

Alan out of interest I have noticed the other Bohemian glass collectors rarely comment on your pieces. Is there a reason for that?

I can say again...it's wonderful!
Very lovely, Alan! :)
It's a beauty Alan ! :)
Sure is a beauty.
If you don't mind me asking how would you identify this as a Loetz.
Is it shape and color or a mark somewhere on the piece?
Gruff, sure I don't mind you asking, it's all you mentioned, the form, the colours and Mark, I am sorry I forgot to add the Pontil Mark.
The only two acid-etched marks found on glass attributed to Loetz ca. 1919-1939 known at this time, are the oval above (Fig. 11) and the box below (Fig. 13). Neither "Loetz" nor "Lötz" ever appear in authentic acid-stamped marks, only the word "Czechoslovakia." The oval Loetz acid marks generally appear on only two types of glass. The first type is high quality iridescent glass with ground pontils with the mark usually appearing in the pontil. The other glass found with the oval mark is on a line Loetz called Tango. Tango was made in bright Art Deco colors, frequently red or orange.
I hope this help to clarify.
Many thanks for the comment and the love, much appreciated that you take some time to stop by, also I do appreciate your constant support.
