I got this bowl that is shaped like a shell a few years ago at an estate sale. It is clear glass on the inside and has some sort of coating on the back that looks like pearl. It is 9" by 7" and about 1 1/2" high. I have other pieces of glass but most people comment on this piece. I have no idea what type of glass this is, who made it, or how old it is. Anyone have any ideas. Thanks

Believe this might be from Turkey.

Hmmm..katherine, I lived in Turkey for several years and never saw anything like that bowl. I wonder if any of my Turkish friends would recognize it.

Ah okay. I have a blue bowl sort of similar, and looking on the Interwebz they all seem to come from Turkey. :)
