      No idea -- but since you found in Hawaii -- I am thinking mabe something to do with boat / Ship or Ship building??? Just guesses.....

      Ship rigging or ship cargo lifting device. Looks old.

      You might want to get a metal detector and keep digging pirates treasure. Arr to be sure.

      This mounts near the outboard end of a boom on a sail boat. The pulleys are for adjusting horiz. swing of the boom. Nice wall hanger.
