Two vintage bears

I have had these two bears since 1968 and before that they belonged to my older brother and I recall my mother telling me one of the bears came from an amusement fair or showground.
Their tags have long gone but I believe the one wearing the striped cardigan is a German made bear possibly Hermann and his squeaker still emits a faint growl.
They are stuffed with wood shavings or kapok and both are fully jointed and are covered in synthetic mohair.
They have been together a very long time and I think they have very expressful faces.
