Verj N Silver Triangle Earrings

I recently found these Sterling earrings with Verj N stamped on the back. I like the large (nearly 1.75" long) triangle shape and the milky, blue stones, but haven't had any luck finding info on the artist, Verj N (other than his name is Verj Nelson and he is from Santa Fe). Can anyone out there identify the stones or provide more info about the artist? Thanks!
