Good Afternoon CW Friends----(5:10 PM)2016-4-5
I was amaze to not seeing many collector the past Saturday at the salvation Army, result, really good find for me, I like that very much.
The first piece 1 of 5 i want to share with you is this absolutely beautiful biscuit barrel or biscuit jar made by George Jones and Sons, Crescent England from 1891-1893.
Have a nice gold gild throughout the diameter, with Rose flowers and leafs.
The biscuit jar has EPNS silver plate fittings rim which are in exceptionally fine metal incision with vine thought the lid.
The biscuit barrel is in very good +++ condition with no chips, cracks, minimal plate wear. Absolutely beautiful and what i read online very difficult to find from this period in such excellent condition like this one.
This Jar stand 6.50 inch tall(9.25 inch handle up), 5.75 inch at the widest portion, 3.25 inch top opening, on a 3.75 inch base.
Thanks for Viewing.

Nice barrel. I love the tracery on the lid which reflects the gilding around it.
