My grandfather, who was born in 1873 in Denver hid this in the basement of his Denver home before prohibition. He wrote 1915 on the red label. It was behind a loose brick in the foundation. He was an avid bicycle rider around the turn-of-the-century, and probably enjoyed a beer after a 100 mile ride. He somehow forgot this one. We found it when cleaning up the old house to sell in the mid 1980's.

Awesome bottle! It's even cooler that you have a family related story behind it! Thanks for sharing!!!

Very Nice!!! Good thing he put a "born on " date... don't want any skunky beer!

      Miltown,
This is a long shot but do you still have that bottle? The reason I ask is because if you do not I think I have it. I found it in an old trunk in a storage auction. The label appears to be torn/wore exactly as the one you show.
Did you ever get a value on it? Email me at mr4pt@hotmail.com if you don't have it and want it back.
