This one is quite interesting. Not only is it a postcard sent from Shanghai, but it was also addressed with a type-writer, instead of by hand.
Further, it was postmarked on June 28th, and arrived in a neighbouring city on July 26th of 1907. So long!
As one last note of interest, it is signed "The Kid".
Could it be from Billie The Kid? You know, the speculation that Pat Garret didn't shoot The Kid but actually helped him get away. [;>)))))
Hah Hah. You know, as a writer, I could make a whole story on that stem from this piece. I'd likely, at the end, have him 'send' this postcard to Mrs. Crumbaugh (whatever fake alias that is!) before moving on elsewhere for the next book. LOL.
Great idea, Spirit! A whole series! [;>)
I used to write Historical Fiction. ;)
BTW, I picked up a new knife:

Reflects me more.
Very interesting:)
Thanks for viewing, Trey.
