    During WW2, the dairy industry joined the war effort by urging customers to "buy war bonds". Numerous dairies throughout the country chose designs & slogans to encourage this effort. The pictures represent a few examples of these types of collectible milk bottles.

      Terrific displays - very, very well done. May I ask how long it took to amass all those bottles?

      2 of my favorite things! My dad collected milk bottles (from WI and MI) , and I collect 40s things! I made notations on a map of each town he collected a bottle from. I'd like to spend some time googling each dairy's history, but haven't got that far yet! He would've really enjoyed your collection!
