Painting of crying girl

Is this an authentic Bragolin painting?

I purchased this oil painting at a local Goodwill. I believe it is 18 x 24 and it looks kind of old (60's or 70's based on the stretcher and canvas). At first, it looked like a typical cheesy painting that one would expect to see at any number of thrift stores. The painting itself is actually very well executed, which is why I purchased it. The signature in the lower right hand corner says "Bragolin". Much to my surprise, I did find quite a bit of information about a painter named Bragolin who was known for his portraits of crying children. The signature looks different than the few examples that I saw on line. I am curious if anyone can tell me more about this painting. Is it a copy of a Bragolin? Is it simply done in the style of Bragolin? Are there any online resources to further research Bragolin?
