There aren’t nearly enough pictures available to show all the weird positions this wrench can contort into. The only mark on it is “Pat. Ap’l For” on the handle. The monkey wrench-type jaw assembly can be rotated and locked into three positions radially and two positions vertically by loosening the large thumb screw on the back of the head. The entire jaw assembly can then be locked on the handle or set to ratchet in either direction by turning the collar at the base of the head. I’d like to know who made it, when, and the patent number if anyone can help

That has to be the coolest adjustable wrench ever! Are those numbers stamped on the side of the jaw in the first photo?
No, AzT, they are just marks on the metal. There is a very limited number of places where this would be really useful but I doubt they outweigh the aggravation of setting it up as opposed to using other tools. :-)
The wrench pictured was patented in 1912. Pat # 1,050,131 by J S Hawes
