After some research.... this demitasse cup and saucer seem to bear resemblance to Royal Worcester sets I've seen on the web. The metal between the butterfly wings, the shape of the tea cup and the saucer. I've loved this set and have used it often but it now has a hairline crack. I would love to find another. The gold is painted with raised dots throughout.
Any help would be much appreciated.

I also went through web site for Royal Worcester replacement pieces - an awful lot, but none matched yours I'm afraid.
Is it a demitasse cup & saucer or a tea cup & saucer.
You say it bears a resemblance to Royal Worcester, and with no stamps/marks on either piece this is difficult to find. I'm sorry but I haven't been able to find it, hope you can do more research, or wait to see if someone comes by and recognizes it.
