Unknown family rocker

This was my 3rd great aunt's rocker. It's a recliner. There's a pull knob that releases the under mechanism to allow the back to drop. I know the cushions have been reapulstered at least once. When i took these pics, it's the 1st time i noticed the label. It's a lot older than i thought. Hard to read but says oct 24, 1898. I was hoping someone else could tell me more, like what kind of chair it is so i can look for a value. I don't plan on seing it, but I'm curious plus for insurance. Thanks.
