Thrift shop book buys

Got a first edition second print of the 1949 book"The Vatican" the cool thing about this on is that it was taken on pilgrimage in 1950 and the former owner kept several souvenirs in the book. 2 program for religious events and a photo of Pope Prius XII.

Also what I believe to be first edition "Le Petit Parisian" this book is missing the title page but has a hand written message inside the cover. Sure wish I could read French.
