      I think GAR is a good guess. I have the same crossed flags device that came in a box full of tattered GAR ribbons from one family. Not proof of course, but the rest of it also looks similar to other GAR items I've seen - and then of course the likely Gettysburg connection.

      Thanks for the info Chrisnp at 1st look I was thinking Gettysburg also however that is in PA so? it would have been nice if the ribbon was intact but for a dollar I can't complain.
