I've been following this ring for many years, one day when I was looking online I saw that the price had dropped to what I considered was a decent price, so I bought it. As you can see it's has the blink factor, it's 7/8 inch in diameter. On two of the aquamarine stones there are two gold thistles. There are 6 aquamarine stones and 2 citrine stones, there are three slender leaves entwined between the stones. I have put two pics of the back because I personally think it's amazing with all the leave work. I'm more or less 90 percent sure this ring is Bernard Instones work, but I could be wrong, I would value anybodies opinion.
Many thanks for looking
Wow. Your jewellery collection is just amazing.
If your last piece is stunning, then this one is paralyzing!!! WOW!!! [;>)
Woahh, this beauty was really destinated to be your :-)
Love the large size and the thistles details, and the leaves under, and the stones colours!!!!
Thank you martika, NevadaBlades and kyra for your gracious comments. I am very excited about this ring I'm very happy to be its guardian.
It is such an unusual ring Jean. It is rare I think to see jewellery that is so deliberately made to be asymmetrical. To have it work so well takes a master artist.
The back is beautiful as a stand alone! Congratulations on finally acquiring it.
Hi Karen, I have waited a long time for this ring as I said in my write up. Patients as they say pays, in this case it did. I have seen some similar work by Bernard Instone but it's very rare these types of pieces come up for sale at a price that is affordable. Yet again Karen your comments are always appreciated, thanks for popping by :-))
Wow. Just WOW! This one takes may breath!
