Vintage 1952 G.E. Stove. Another awesome find. This has a neon blue light all the way down the front, a drop down burner, salt and pepper shakers build in. Why did they ever change such a perfect work of art?
I agree, beautiful design on this stove.
These were Awesome, my son still uses on very similar to this without the 'pot'......his still works great.
Hello,
I have two of these stoves in great condition. They were in a home that I bought to renovate. Is there a market for these items or better yet specific buyers that look for these stoves?
Thanks!
There are lots of people looking for old stoves like this and re-conditioned, they go for big bucks. I love my '57 and have used the deep well cooker a lot since buying my stove.
what does a stove like this sell for?
Great stove!
I just picked one up today....almost idential in really nice condition.
I usually don't get this lucky, but it was free!
@gkite, As far as the value, in great condition like this one, prices should start at about $400-$500, but in the right 'mid-century' marketplace, MUCH higher!
Hi, I am hoping you can take a picture of the retractable spring that makes the oven door on the top right open and close! Let me back up here...see my 94 yr old aunt has a 44' Hotpoint (which is a GE), that looks VERY similar to this one and she still uses every day! also has all light up push button burner switches like this one , salt and pepper shaker and sunken burner like yours! Now on her oven door (when you open it and look on the right hand side by the right hinge, there is a spring there that might be attached to both the oven door AND possible to the inside of the oven. My aunts is gone ...she called a repair guy and he did the worst thing ever and threw the old busted one away and cannot find a replacement arrrggg! Never throw these old parts away even when broke, because you can get someone to re-produce it...Century spring can manufacture one, but I need to see what the size and look of it is before they can make it...anyway possible you can try to take a picture with a tape measure across it both ways so I can see how it should look as well as be placed...WOULD SO APPRECIATE IT! Thank you , Bill @ wmparsons@bellsouth.net
