    This has been in the family a long time. I know nothing about it's age, value, where it was made. I think it's hand carved.
    It's a large, heavy china cabinet with 4 carved feet and ornately carved gargoyle-like heads on the top. It has three beveled glass doors (I believe that what they're referred as). It's quite the piece. Any information would be appreciated.

      Magnificent, wish I had this one. It looks like a victiorian bookcase/cabinet that has great lion monopodia which is in the Thomas Hope tradition. I have a lot of books on Thomas Hope and his take on the English Regency. Though this is not a regency piece, but the lions bring that to mind on any connoiseur who would see this. Simply beautiful !~
