James Kent was a manufacturer of china and earthenware at the Old Foley Pottery in Longton, Stoke-on-Trent. It was founded in 1897 and continued quite long, until 1981 as a family business.
They are decorated with garlands, ribbons and flowers. I have a soft spot for this style - just love blush ivory pottery.
LOVE the names of British towns ~ Longton, Stoke-on-Trent ~ quaint and lovely. The pottery pieces are lovely, too!!!
Thank you, Nevada. I feel same!
And thank you Ericocon, Caperkid, AmatoorPikr, Aura and Freiheit for your LUV too xxx
What's not to love about these....the blush colour is lovely and I could swoon at the decor....swags and garlands!!
Racer4four - thanks for your nice comment :)))
and thank you everybody for your love button xxx
Hi martika, they are dentical! As you say, even the collars! I guess that means its original to it:) Well done & thank you. I hadn't come across the name James Kent. I know very little about Pottery and what I do pick up usually doesn't stay with me long..a curse of getting older, mind you I've always had a terrible memory, lol. Would you mind if I linked this to mine?
Of course I wouldn't mind. I'm pleased you like it.
