I purchased this machine at a second hand store. It is in like-new shape (I think, from appearances), and only appears to need a little TLC (cleaning & oiling) to get it up and going again (runs now, but sounds like it needs lubrication). Aside from the name plate on the side of the machine "MW Zenith" the only other identifying markings aare the model / machine plate under the front edge of the machine, under the deck (Model 215, Machine 2273, and there are also CSA approval labels on the motor and on the deck of the machine under the motor showing the 215 model number (CSA = Canadian Standards Association electrical safety approval sticker).

I have Goggled everything I can think of and cannot find any information about this machine, let alone a copy of a manual or anything like that. I did find one site that suggested the MW on the name plate (of another machine) stood for Montgomery Ward, and I couldn't fine anything relevant under that name. I also found a "how to " video on YouTube that pictured a "White" brand machine, that looked different on the exterior, but appeared to have a similar bobbin set up.

Any help in finding more information about this machine would be greatly appreciated. It is built like a tank, and I am really stoked about finding it, so I would like to learn all I can about maintaining it, etc.

    Thanks

The Zenith Sewing Machine was a Product sold by MW, or Marshall Wells of Canada Limited, 1395 Ellice Avenue, Winnipeg 21, Manitoba. ( This is the Address shown on the Sewing Machine Warranty Card.) Marshall Wells was a Hardware Store Franchaise, but as far as I know, they are no longer in Business. The Zenith Automatic Zig-Zag Sewing Machine, which I am familiar with, was sold in 1952. As far as the Manufacturer, it appears it may have been made in India, and sold primarily in Asian countries.
