I just purchased two end tables with a lane stamp on the bottom, but the serial number doesn't make sense. Both have the same serial number, the numbers 23 where the day of the month should be. I stripped and oiled the top shown.
Serial number 062340
I believe the serial number should be interpreted as date of manufacture April 23, 1960 judging from other furniture they made.
