This is a clear glass decanter with a silver overlay of grapes and leaves.
There are markings on the bottom in the silver:
999/1000 FINE
Marking which appears to be Alvin Manufacturing Co.
1508
Height: 11" tall with stopper, 8-1/2" tall without stopper
Diameter: approx. 5-1/4"
What I found, providing this is indeed from Alvin, is they were acquired in 1928 by Gorham and the Alvin mark may have been used until the 1970s.
