these are very pretty and welcome to cw!! im no jewelry expert!!
"S925" means the clasp is Sterling silver. The beads look like what I call "reconstituted stone"which means scraps from all those different stones are gathered and formed by machine into beads. It's a very pretty necklace.
Agree with Valentino and Ruckleczglass!
Dyed serpentine Chinese, Vintage :-)
And with all to say it is pretty !
I appreciate everyone's help, I'm not a collector but I came across this necklace and needed to know what it was. Again I am in your debt for all the help
I am thinking about selling it, should I get it checked prior? Also what do you think the value for this is about? I can tell through bits of research that it is of Chinese origins and vintage but that's it. If anyone here is interested I would consider selling to an actual collector that'll appreciate it in ways I can't
No need to check further, it is not pricy...
To get an idea of the value, go to Ebay SOLD items section, search for vintage chinese multi colored jade necklace...
No sollicitation to buy or sell allowed on CW...
I'm sorry I am new and seen the other auctions. Now that I look I see they are all ebay sales. Thank you and I apologize for my mistake and ignorance
