Latest purchase from a dealer in Germany, super rare little Bronze African boy and turtle , mid 1950s by Richard Rohac of Vienna Austria.
Have never seen this figure in the 15 years plus i have been collecting Hagenauer, Anzengruber, Rohac and Ravelli African figures, heads and busts and i had to snap this up quickly before anyone with some knowledge saw it. Height 9.5 cm, depth 9 cm, width 13 cm .
Just love it, it looks even better in real life.

???? of course not! I cannot find this figure in the web and I am now not sure if it's an original. It is a tall african woman like drumming but on.this.wood Container for toothpicks. I can only find a similar figure with a child. It has the double R and the made in austria signature below.
