    Went for a walk to the park today and came home with this lamp. I've tried to find it online but have only found oil lamps with the same boy and lamb. I'm no expert on lamps but it seems maybe 40's or 50's . If anyone knows more about its manufacturer, date of manufacture or any other information I'd love to hear from you

      Sounds like, & looks like, it was converted from oil.

      True, but the glass dome seems made for this application (I took it apart) there are felt pads on either end and the pieces sit on top of each other rather than properly assemble. The only thing holding them all together is a single nut above the boy that tightens down on a stem running the length of the lamp. There is a felt bottom to the brass base that appears to be backed by wood
