Hard to find Halloween postcards circa 1909-1913, a handsome addition to my collections.
I received most of these in a postcard lots.

Lucky to find them in lots! Each one is sooo hot! The prices are great for Halloween and if you can pick them up reasonably--you stand to make a nice profit.!! Collecting postcards is a ton of fun. And I look at mine often! Do you? (A dandy hobby, cause they don't take up a lot of room. Displays nicely in albums) The art work just tickles me. I have a love of comic cards--altho sometimes the humor escapes me--due to things relevant to the era 100 years ago, that are lost to us now. Thanks for the nice show!
Actually I do not collect these at all. Lol. I mainly go after uncle SAMs and rare Santa htls by DGRM- Wolfe Hagelburg. I also look for ones that never made it to the public eye with no writing on the back. I kinda stopped a few months ago after I completed Uncle Sam htl set. These collect dust and as a result, I'm probably going to let them go sooner or later. As far as Santa htls, I have so many duplicates that are the same scene but German or English made.
I was never really into Halloween postcards except the starry night ones. I am not even sure if they are rare- I rarely see them. I have frexias postcards and a set of four black witche variants on pumpkins too. I had a mechanical but that was a gift a while back
Oh WOW. Maybe you could show more on CW? I know I am on the unusual collectors' list. But I LOVE,LOVE the ones with messages. To me, and extra bonus on the card!! I must be inquisitive. There was an epidemic in about 1918, the many messages on the back were about what hospitals would take the sufferers, who in their family were a death's door. And poignant messages from the afflicted--any card that lends itself to something historical---or everyday, and times--rings a special bell for me. News, war, train wrecks and disaster, Circus observations, Fairs, and even Hulda's sausage recipe for a Swedish casing stuffed specialty. I'll take 'em all, and read again and again. I love postcards!! Nice to meet another who has some!

Frexias and mechanicals are ridiculously hard to find in good condition or not repos. "Starry Halloween" with bat rifts was hard to find in very good condition too.
