E. J. Peterson was a long-time dairy operator here in Muskegon.
This rarer milk (the size is hard to find) was given to me by my town's biggest bottle-enthusiast who had dug it. He said it is pre-1900, which was likely the cut-off date of the dump or privy he dug it from.
The bottle is missing the bottom but is a welcome addition.
There really is a place called Muskegon ? LOL!!
We also have Berlin (closest to me), Hell, Michillinda, Michigamme, Christmas, Temperance, Jugville, Vulcan, Bad Axe, Wyoming, Dowagiac, Baraga, etc.
:P
LOL !! Kill the Indians & then use their images & names ? I'm Amer. too originally ! Hope to change that tomorrow.
Muskegon is from a Native word for Land of Many Swamps. Cities like Pontiac were named after tribes.
Gonna be Mr. Expatriate?
I've been an ex-pat for decades. 43 yrs.
I always was curious about why it sounds like 'ex-patriot'.
