Beautiful! It's the Clive family Coat of arms. For Robert Henry Clive, Oakley Park, co. Salop (Today Shropshire, England) b 15 Jan 1789, d. 1854. http://mfas3.s3.amazonaws.com/objects/H1005.jpg
He married Lady Harriet Windsor in 1819, so the family crest is a mix of the house of Clive and the house of Windsor Coat of arms. Thus, not in use before 1819.
Thats great to know , i actually looked at the clive family coat of arms but it seemed different. Maybe i was looking at the earlier one.
Fantastic , really appreciate the info !!
Great solve Olof!
TinyT, your tokens are beautiful and very sought after by collectors when bearing a crest :-)
Yes i have heard that the ones with crests are more sought after. Great to know the history behind it.
