What I'd like to know is:
    1. What is the year?
    2. What is the name of the design?
    3. How common is it?
    4. It cannot wind-up anymore, nor can I change the time as it's been damaged. How much would I likely expect to pay to have it fixed?

Inside back: "17 Jewels 13628801 / Safety / Pinion" which also has an F and S on it (what do those mean?). / "Elgin Natl. Watch Co. / U.S.A"
On back cover: Crudely inscribed by hand at side, "15191w / 17208w 19930w" then by a different hand, perhaps: "94178 / ->3467"
Also: "Philadelphia Watchcase Co. " around a crown. Under that, "Victory" and under that, "4428518" and inscribed later, "118163"
Under the threaded front, which screws of, one can read: "4428518"?

The back and front screw off. Someone had tried prying the back off, not knowing it's a screw-off.
It is a very large watch.

The Philadelphia Watchcase Co. formed in 1888 and merged with another company in 1904 to become Keystone Watchcase Co.
So there's the date-range that I can establish for the watch.
