This is an amazing Kilt Pin, I think it is a classic piece from Bernard Instone. The pin is a massive 9 1/2 cm in length. The garnet is approx 2 cm in diameter. I've tested the 3 pearl and they are gritty which leads me to believe they are real. The silver leave and flower work has been so wonderfully constructed. This was another piece I patiently waited for, I'm glad I did because it is a lovely, lovely brooch, and a wonderful example of his work.
