I picked this up at a thrift store. I'm positive it's a reproduction, I still thought it looked old and might have a nice resale price, but after searching I still don't know who originally drew the picture or what the picture is called? It came with the slip on the back from ArtLore (which I haven't found anything on that company either) and the slip says Mark By Bartolomeo I thought it would be easy to identify but it's not turning out that way:( Any help on identifying this peice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Sarah
Clear is that the original figure ones was made by Bartolomeo. I don't know who made the piece of art you have. It is inspired by a painting Bartolomeo made of Madonna Enthroned with Saints. On this painting on the right is image of St John the Baptist. I'm almost certain that he is the one on your piece. Maybe it is a reproduction of a sketch Bartolomeo made.
