There are actually two of these. They are small cups that are almost paper thin. The outside has some gold inlay. When you hold them up to the light it definately shines through. I will put more photos as soon as I get them taken because I have never been able to figure these out. These have actually been passed through my family so reflect some of my heritage.

Any help is greatly appreciated. :)

Lovely. Interesting. Does that cup definitely go with that saucer? As opposed to the other cup if that makes sense. I'm with you on unique, what with that daisy business on the saucer and what looks like less color as well. Type of thing one can look at a long time. Be nice to see both.

I vote for a cup / saucer mismatch. Cup looks older & of better quality than the saucer.

I don't necessarily agree, DM, but if the OP won't update we'll never know and this will never be a "solved Mystery."

      Ok my bad.
You two are absolutely right. I pulled the sets out today and had the saucers with the wrong cup.
Will retake and put them both up.

I love the one with swirls! They sure have a lot of metallic trim. Off on a hunt!

I LOVED the original pic with the cup in the saucer on the white background. Really loved looking at it. Now I can't tell if I liked the mismatch better or not. :-)

You have some very nice stuff, and are a nice lady too!

Ilove both sets, especially the one with the gold swirling trim.
