I like to go to this shop because I nearly always find something nice for a very small price. This pendant hung from a cheapo chain, so it wasn't examined carefully. I saw the marks when I picked it out of the jewelry box. The second set of marks are foreign and I don't recognize them. I also picked out a nice .925 chain, older style linkage, for another $1.50. The owner looked at both through a magnifying glass and still failed to see the silver and gold marks. Oh well. :-))))))
Thanks for looking/loving, CW friends.

Finally got a (Efesgirl find) silver chain I'll post later.
Caperkid - looking forward to seeing it.
nuts - who, me? Take advantage? Nah.....haha! If these people don't know what they're selling, then toughie utsy!
What a great find....well done! I used to feel guilty doing the same, but not any more!!!
That's right, TassieDevil. Not long ago, I bought an 18K gold (750) 10 gram Rolex model ring for 50 cents. Not too long before that, signed 18K gold large creole earrings for 25 cents. I buy just about all of my gold that way.
Looks like brass!
Uh-huh....
Good for you Efesgirl! The only trouble I have is trying to maintain a beastly careless attitude.....until I have it in my hot little hand outside away from the shop or wherever !
TassieDevil - lol! I have to remain composed until I have walked away, too...it's odd how the same sellers seem to make the same mistakes. I get silver that way, too. Some sellers even look at the piece through a loup and still don't see the marks. I find that to be quite funny. The shop owner looked at the heart and a sterling silver chain through a magnifier and still asked 3.00 for both pieces. Go figure.....
valentino97 - I'm a NY girl who grew up in a Jewish/Italian neighborhood. That explains everything.....lol~!
