    This belonged to my great Aunt. I have admired this since I can remember as a small child. Because of this piece I thought my name was "Don't touch Stevie" he know nothing of who made it or when. I would love to know more about it. And yes I touch it as much as possible now!!!

      Beautiful bird. Don't know for sure, but my guess is Venetian.

      I kind of agree with the above statements, but the only thing I have concern was the base part, can you add a pictures of this base, close up.
