Tonight's post was going to be the original Mr Potato Head which used real vegetable. But unfortunately it appears I ate the potato that was to be used for this. Luckily I had this toaster which has been sitting around for a few years. Never have looked up any information on this until tonight.
This is a Hot Point toaster made by the Edison Appliance Co. It is a Model 126T33 which was made post 1921. According to the text stamped on the underside it was "RATD" 1921. Thus 1921 or a bit later.
The sides on this drop down when the large knob on the side is turned. On the cord there is an On/Off switch. Other than that there are no controls on this.
Great post!! I think it is time for some Toast & Coffee.
Coffee On there? LOL
Morning at some people place....LOL

Fried, boiled, mashed or baked? Delicious any way.
I hope you get these vintage things checked and tagged by a certified electrician.
I'm sure you do and the tag is just out of shot.
Does that baby work Fort.
Damn I do love my potqto head and am very disappointed you ate it.
Thank you very much antiquerose. I have a few graniteware coffee pots.
Sylvester smoking! The PC police would never allow that now.
Thank you very much racer4four. I fear with that ancient cord I am the one certified (I don't use it).
Thank you very much Thomas. I always try and find new old things.
Thank you very much Gruff. Sadly it needs a new cord but I like the look of the old cord and just use another toaster.
