    This bat belonged to my dad. I found it in my sons room. I don't know too much about baseball, but I wanted to see if it is something worth framing for my son!

      Neat bat!

      If you like it then certainly preserve it.

      Don't know that I would personally put much into a frame for it.

      It is what I call a "created collectible"-- originally made for the collector market. Items with "limited edition", "numbered", "special edition", "collectors edition", etc...; all fall into that category and usually represent hype of the product rather than rarity or desirability of the object.

      You will see all sorts of objects sold this way-- plates, figurines, knives, etc...

      If you and your son are Ranger fans then enjoy it and display it but don't ever expect any sort of "payday" on it as value is minimal.
