OK, I turned the chair over and found this manufacturer's tag wired around the springs. It says Southern Cross, Southern Spring Bed Co., 290 Hunter Street, S. E., Atlanta, GA. "quality sleep products for the home, school and industry". Does anyone know about this company?
    Thanks so much for feedback!!

Can anyone give me some information about this rocking chair? I got it when I bought a log cabin built in 1953. The wood armrests, frame and rocker are made of a light colored oak. There is a half wagon wheel on each side of the chair. It has a matching footstool not shown. I would appreciate any feedback or clues!

Wow, this just jarred a memory I'd forgotten I had; apparently, someone, somewhere, in my lifetime had one of these (or similar)--now to figure it out LOL. Nice!
