I'd like to know more about this 1970s (?) light that I was given by a friend of the family. It is a green plastic opening and closing light. It is is a glass bowl with the lamp and mechanics inside, surrounded by a "shell" of green plastic. The controls have two switches: one is the normal light on/off switch and the other is a rocker with which you can (slowly) open and close the shell. This switch has a symbol that shows the shell open and closed.
There is no identifying label or brand. the internal mechanics show the name Crouset - Milano, but I think that's only the motor or switching mechanism brand, not the light itself.
Can anyone help me determine the brand and year of manufacture?
Thanks
