Any glass collectors who know me know that I love Rindskopf above pretty much above all other glass. For years I have wanted to add an example of their Corrugated decor to my collection, but nothing really appeared. I was therefore ecstatic when I was able to buy a real beauty recently - a 10.25" tall example of the Corrugated decor in a beautifully simple geometric form. I am obviously biased, but I think that this lovely textural decor is really shown off to its best on this tapering square vase in a size that is really just perfect for it. I love, love, love this vase. My husband, who has always liked my Rindskopf collection, declared that it was by far his favorite piece as soon as he saw it - high praise, to me! :)
lovely....
Roycroftbooksfromme1, thank you very much, I am glad you like it!
Love Love Love this one!!
Extraordinarily beautiful. I love texture and this with the colour is exceptional.
Michelleb007, your pictures, really are beautiful, I can figure, this maybe not easy to capture all the colours , this is wonderful example of this glass house.
I wish one day, my partner in life for 32 years, will enjoy my collection of glass.
Congrats.
Regards
Alan
Craig, thanks so much!! :)
Karen, thank you! It looks best with some light directly on it to show off both - I have a great spot for it on an old oak sideboard in our living room. :)
Alan, thank you for your kind comments. I am very lucky that my husband supports my habit! ;)
Michelleb007, my wife not really agree on this addiction of glass, specially when I bring home the LOETZ Ausfuehrungen-237, she freak out on the price I pay, anyway, we not plan to separate for this, she just think I am crazy, that's all.
Regards
Alan
Beautiful.....the subtlety of colour, the amazing texture and a shape to show both to perfection!
Love this shape too.
Alan, I am glad you two are staying together! LOL! :) I am sure my husband thinks I am a bit crazy for other reasons - but glass would be a good excuse! ;)
Thank you so much, sklo - I really do appreciate your thoughts about it. As you know, I couldn't wait for it to arrive so I could see it in person! :)
Thanks, Gruff!
That's gorgeous! It reminds me of a campfire that's just starting to die down, with that amber-orange glow still coming from inside the logs of wood. Looks like it's ready to flare up any second...
swfinluv1, that description is perfect! Thanks so much for your imagery, and for your kind comments. :)
