I bought this lamp at Goodwill because I needed a new lamp and I love this one. I think the metal is brass but I don't know what the other part is. It is very heavy so I don't think resin but when tapped it doesn't sound or feel like ceramic maybe stone or marble. It is 28 inches tall, the middle part is 16.5 inches at the widest point and the base is 17.5 at the widest point. There are no identifying marks or numbers I can find. I only want to know more about it. I needed a heavy lamp so my cat couldn't knock it over lol and thankfully she can't this one. Thank you for your help.

I believe the stone is alabaster. If you wanted to you could wire the middle part as alabaster is rather transparent for light. Approx. mid 1960's.
