Anyone Know What This Is?

Can anyone identify what this piece is, or what country it may have come from?... Also, what would it have been used for?

I found three "spouted bowls" like this one, while on a trip to one of my local resale shops today... They caught my eye, so I picked them up, along with a medium size bowl, and a pitcher that has a deliberate hole in one side of it... All seem to be made of the same material, and look like they may have come from the same region/company... I can't find any marks on any of the items... There appear to be mold lines on the pieces, but it could just be a trick of the paint job.

This particular item seems to be ceramic, and doesn't look like it was glazed... There is an animal motif, that looks like it might be a gazelle along the sides.

5 inches (6 1/4 inches with spout) long
5 inches wide
1 1/2 inches deep
