    The theme is definitely Aztec or Mayan, but it feels like either an american or european piece. it's heavy and made from very solid clay - almost like sewer tile. i think it's old too. it was a gift to a friend of mine. it kind of reminds me of some Peters and Reed pieces i've seen. it is about 12 inches tall.

      thanks brunswick! this is kind of the 'south park' or american version of mayan history - from the 20s-40s, i think.

      Unfortunately, this piece burned up in the Ghost Ship fire which killed 37 people.
