    Hello my name is Eric
    I came across these spoon that i had for over 25 years, and was hoping someone can give me some information on them anything would be very appreciated. thank you for your time. the spoon is 3 1/8" height and is like a scoop has some numbers on the top and i really can't make out the design on top of spoon.

      These appear to be salt spoons which were placed at each place setting along side a salter or very small bowl to hold the amount of salt taken from the larger salt container which was passed around the table at the beginning of the meal.

      I realy cant make out the top what carved. Design. And the year i can only make out the numbers 830 .do you know if it's 1830
