    They 're done in a gorgeous cobalt, which may have affected the entire clay to give it a faint blueish appearance. The handle is applied to the cup, which is like the saucer in not being entirely round. They are glazed with some minor defects in it, and the pieces are all entirely unmarked.

    The glaze, though, is not cracked-- which is the only suspicion on my part that they are not terribly old.

    Any ideas on age, place of origin, intended market?

      Flow blue, and I'd guess at these being Japanese, possibly last century, but I'm no expert. Good luck finding out what you have there, very nice pieces! :)
