    Hi CW Gang:

LOL...I was Dusting today and realized I had not posted this one. I have lots of glass, but I do not dig it out sometimes till dusting time. The D-Word.....Agh!!

I think this might be SKRDLOVICE - BOHUSLAV BERANEK a 'popelnik' [or ashtray]. PATTERN No. is 5233 from 1952. Wait to see what others say as sometimes things are just to close for me to call...LOL. Anyway a lovely mixture of Amber and Green colors. Very Striking !! Posted below is another similar piece [ with link ] I had posted before on CW,

Thanks for LOOKING // LOVING !!

Love this. You know it is a work of art when you want to keep looking at it, touch it, hold it. Yes, it is beautiful.

@VET50 - Wonder if you can confirm this? thanks

      I'll just check.
    6. vetraio50 vetraio50, 9 years ago
Looks right to me. Just check the dimensions .... 6cm and 12 cm and for the imperialists that's 2.36" and 4.72" !!!

I like this so much that I won't throw in one of my crude remarks !
    8. antiquerose antiquerose, 9 years ago
Hmmmm....I never measure in cm......LOL....but when I measured this it was like 6.75 across ( lobe to lobe ) and height was like 3.25 inches. So they are different than what you have said. Do they come in Different sizes??

I will check my measurements again.....

Normally they indicate the various sizes are on the diagram.

That colour combo is really my favourite these days,

@ VETRAIO50 - So the ID/maker/year of this is correct?

yes this color is very striking!! I like this color combo better than this piece here:

Can I get back to you on the response to that question?
I am on the iPad and don't have access to the catalogues at the mo'.

      No problem....

I just want to have a good look around. The measurements are usually pretty accurate ... with the usual tolerances.
    14. antiquerose antiquerose, 9 years ago
lol...No problem. I will check my measurements too.
    15. vetraio50 vetraio50, 9 years ago
How about the 5635? 17 cm and 7cm I think.

Have you seen 50105 ? and a 5464 ? the bases rule them out.

@VETRAIO50 -- I will take a look at your suggestions. Just been busy outside as we are suppose to get to 29 C here. Will try to check those out tonight or tomorrow. Thanks so much VET -- Thumbs UP -- to You always !!!!
