Hi there. I found this lamp at a recent auction. I have been trying to place the maker and circa. I took the lamp apart for cleaning (I could hear things clanking in the base area). It actually has 12 parts that stack on top of each other with a metal rod through the center for the cord. The bottom base has Morton 53 stamped on it. The lamp harp has Berger with the Patent # 2650294 - which was approved in 1953.
The lamp is pewter and glass. The pewter is painted with gold, ivory and black. It stands about 27 inches tall to the neck. The cord had been replaced. It is heavy, about 12 pounds. I would appreciate any feedback.
Thanks!
