1944 US special passport - UNRRA

Here is a lovely passport that was issued for official use on refugee issues during the first year of the UN's operations after its founding in 1943. The passport was used to travel to the Middle East, where the first refugee camps were erected, mainly in North Africa, Palestine and the Levant.
